These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Hirely ("Service"), operated by Hirely ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Use of the Service
You may use Hirely only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Service to create false, misleading, or fraudulent resume content.
- Fabricate employment history, credentials, or qualifications in AI-generated outputs.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage caps, or authentication mechanisms.
- Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service.
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Hirely. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
3. AI-Generated Content
Hirely uses the Anthropic Claude AI to generate resume content, fit scores, outreach suggestions, and cover letter points. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information.
- You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before submitting it to employers.
- Hirely does not guarantee that use of its outputs will result in job interviews or offers.
- Outreach contact suggestions are AI-generated and may not reflect current employment. Always verify before reaching out.
4. Usage Limits
Free accounts are subject to usage limits, including a daily limit of 5 resume tailoring requests and a maximum of 20 saved resumes. These limits exist to ensure fair access for all users and may be changed with reasonable notice.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the resume content and personal information you provide to Hirely. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely to provide the Service to you.
The Hirely name, logo, software, and all other intellectual property in the Service are owned by us and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without our written permission.
6. Advertising
The Service may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the content of these advertisements or the products and services they promote.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HIRELY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
